Nine men arrested over two incidents of disorder in Bradford have been released by police.
Officers were called at around 12.15pm to Hazelhurst Brow in the Daisy Hill area on Friday 16 November and arrested five men following reports of two groups of males fighting.
At 6.25pm, police received a further report of a disorder at the same location and a further three men were arrested in connection with the incident.
The incidents are believed to have been sparked by two vehicles being burnt out on Friday morning.
A further arrest was made on Saturday 17 November. The men were arrested on suspicion of violent disorder, though there were no reports of any serious injuries.
All nine men have been released under investigation.
Detective Inspector Ian Cottrell, Bradford CID, said: “I would appeal for any witnesses or anyone with information on either of the incidents yesterday to get in contact with police.
“We have arrested nine people in connection with the investigation and we are carrying out extensive enquiries into the circumstances.
“We believe the incidents were sparked by two vehicles being burnt out yesterday morning in the same area and they have involved individuals who are known to each other.
“There will be increased patrols in the area today to offer reassurance to the community.”
