Three people have been jailed for their roles in a violent attack linked to a feud between organised crime groups in Rochdale.
Asad Ali, 31, of Marne Crescent, Rochdale, was sentenced to six years in prison after admitting conspiracy to wound with intent.
Hasan Alam, 26, of Dean Court, Rochdale, was jailed for eight years after admitting violent disorder, driving while disqualified, possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and money laundering.
Sonia Ali, 34, of Burnley Lane, Oldham, was sentenced to 18 months in prison after admitting participating in the criminal activities of an organised crime group and failing to comply with a court order relating to evidence.
Manchester Crown Court heard that on 22 May 2021, masked offenders forced entry to a property on Mellor Street in Rochdale.
One victim suffered life-changing injuries while another person sustained less serious injuries during the incident.
Police said Sonia Ali acted as a decoy to help the attackers gain entry, Hasan Alam acted as a driver, and Asad Ali played a key role in organising the attack.
Detectives said the incident was linked to an escalating feud between rival organised crime groups involved in drug supply in the Rochdale area.
Greater Manchester Police described the attack as a carefully planned act of violence that caused lasting harm to victims and fear within the local community.
