Over £800 has been raised for a nursery in Glasgow which was subjected to damage by vandals.
Thugs forced entry into Bellrock Nursery in the Cranhill area, ransacking play areas and stealing cash intended for a school trip.
The community has come together to raise funds to repair the damage, with one anonymous donor pledging £500 to the cause.
The nursery has been broken into twice already this year.
The head teacher, Sonya Morrison, said that, in her five years at the nursery, the building has been broken into five times and the playground has been repeatedly vandalised.
However, she was “overwhelmed” by the support of the community.
