Police are appealing for information following an aggravated burglary in Didsbury.
A male offender forced entry to a property on School Lane at around 6.00am on Monday 14 May before demanding cash, phones and car keys from three victims inside – a man and two women.
He then took a knife from the kitchen before threatening the victims again.
He left the property in one of the victim’s cars – a white Toyota Aygo.
The offender also stole a MacBook Pro laptop, an Xbox 360, a bank card, a black iPhone 7 and a bottle of raspberry vodka.
The offender is described as having tanned skin, possibly white with a dark olive skin tone. He was around 6ft tall, slim, had dark eyes and spoke with a strong Mancunian accent.
He was wearing all black clothing and a black balaclava made of nylon-type material with two eye holes.
He made a comment during the offence about ‘going back to Portugal’.
Detective Constable Rachel Wood from GMP’s City of Manchester Division said: “This was a terrifying burglary in which the victims were threatened at knifepoint.
“We are following several lines of enquiry and are asking for the public’s help to trace this man, so we can get the victims the justice they deserve.”
