Police are appealing for anyone who may have filmed an attempted robbery at a bank in Elland to get in contact.
Officers are appealing for witnesses after the incident at the Halifax Bank on Southgate at 4.30pm which took place on Wednesday 11th of January.
Three men wearing fluorescent jackets and face coverings entered the premises and were believed to be armed with a crowbar and sledgehammers. They threatened staff and caused internal damage.
They then made off empty handed in a black vehicle.
Detective Chief Inspector Chris Gibson of Calderdale CID, said: "I would appeal for anyone who saw this to get in contact. It was at a busy time of the day and we believe members of the public filmed the incident on mobile phones. We are particularly appealing for those people to come forward."
