Police investigating a robbery in Birkby in which a car was stolen are appealing for information.
A blue VW Golf R with the registration plate CE15 UFD was stolen from an address in Stanwell Avenue at about 5.40pm yesterday.
The suspect is described as an Asian male who is believed to be in his mid twenties and about six feet tall.
He was of medium build, with short black hair and was wearing a blue and black hooded top.
It is believed the suspect was seen in the area earlier that day.
Anyone with information about the suspect or who saw the vehicle after it was stolen is asked to contact DC 6676 Coates at Kirklees District CID on 101, quoting crime reference 13160385129 or to call the independent charity Crimestoppers, who can be contacted anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
