A suite of rooms at Bradford Royal Infirmary, which offer the families of stillborn children a private space to create lasting memories, has received a makeover.
The Maternity Unit’s Snowdrop Suite has been revamped and redecorated thanks to funding from the Bradford Teaching Hospital’s Children’s Charity.
The area now allows for more natural light thanks to the addition of skylights and has a new kitchen suite. The bedroom, sitting-room and bathroom have also been redecorated.
Charity Fundraiser Hayley Collis said a family who had previously used the suite had played a key role in raising the money needed for its £14,000 refurbishment, but did not want any publicity.
