
Abdul Satar, received recognition for his selfless charitable endeavours from the government of Pakistan via an online ceremony.
One of only six people in the UK who were bestowed with recognition from the government of Pakistan (14th August 2020), Bradfordian Abdul Satar was honoured via a ceremony from the Pakistan Consulate in Bradford to Pakistan's foreign ministry from where the right honourable minister for foreign affairs, Mr Shah Mahmood Qureshi addressed Mr Satar.
While bestowing the honour upon him, Mr Qureshi congratulated Satar for his work during the Covid-19 Pandemic in helping the homeless, elderly and vunerable citizens of the Metropolitan District of Bradford and beyond through the Bradford Community Kitchen, an organisation he helped setup in 2017.
Mr Satar said " Alhamdulilah I was really humbled and honoured to receive an honour from the government of Pakistan for overseas British Pakistanis for helping to improve lives. Firstly I would like to thank Allah (swt) my paradise my mother, wife, children, brothers, sisters, friends, sponsors and everyone else for supporting all our charity work without you this would not be possible"
