An online consultation for safeguarding in Bradford has now gone live.
Bradford Safeguarding Adults Board is now in the process of writing its new strategic plan for the next three years, which will explain how the board will work in the future to keep people safe.
As part of the process an online consultation on the proposed plan is now live where professionals and the public can tell the board what they think.
Under the terms of the Care Act 2014 Safeguarding Adults Boards are required to publish a strategic plan for each financial year, setting out how it will meet its main objectives; explain how the Safeguarding Board will work to prevent abuse and neglect and how it will help and protect people with care and support needs at risk of abuse and neglect.
The Safeguarding Adults Board must also engage and consult with the local Healthwatch and the local community in preparing its plan.
