Detectives investigating an armed robbery at a Leeds building society on Wednesday have released CCTV images.
Footage showing one of the suspects brandishing a handgun at the Leeds Building Society, in Station Road, Crossgates, has been released along with an image of the car the robbers escaped in.
The incident happened at about at about 12.50pm when two masked men entered the premises and threatened staff and customers before taking an amount of cash.
They left in a car, believed to be a silver / grey five-door Vauxhall Corsa 59-plate (as pictured)
The men were described as white, between 5ft 7ins and 5ft 11ins tall and were wearing grey hoodies and jogging bottoms.
Detective Inspector Phil Jackson, of Leeds District CID, said: "The CCTV image of the man with the gun clearly illustrates how frightening this incident was for the staff and customers involved. We are continuing to carry out extensive enquiries into the robbery and would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident."
"We are also keen to hear from anyone who saw the vehicle as it left the scene or who has any information that could assist us in identifying it."
