A 29 year old man has been given a suspended prison sentence after a collision which sent a vehicle into a barrier where members of the public were sitting at a sports ground.
Bradford Crown Court heard that Mohammed Sattar had been driving a Nissan Micra too fast when he crashed into the rear of a BMW car at Heckmondwike Sports Club on April 6th last year.

Sattar, of Claremont, Heckmondwike, who had previous convictions for robbery and wounding had been due to stand trial but entered a guilty plea to the dangerous driving charge before a jury could be sworn in.
Sattar was sentenced to four months in prison, suspended for 18 months, he must also do 150 hours unpaid work for the community and is disqualified from driving for a year.
