
A drunk driver who killed Liaqat Mahmood, a cab driver has been jailed.
The incident that took place on the 24th of December 2015 saw a black Rover estate which belonged to Joshua Jeffery, crash into a blue Vauxhall Vectra, killing Mr Mahmood.
Mr Mahmood, 33, was taken to Leeds General Infirmary where he suffered a cardiac arrest and died the same night.
The 21-year-old driver was found to have 126 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of his blood and was arrested at around 2:40am hiding at an address in Eric Street, Keighley.
Jeffrey pleaded guilty to causing death by dangerous driving and was jailed for 8 years.
