A mother and three children who tragically died in a house fire in Bolton have been named.
Shortly after 9am on Saturday, 8 July, police were called to reports of a fire at a house on Rosamond Street.
A man had managed to get out of the house but a woman and three children were rescued by firefighters.
A child was sadly pronounced dead at the scene, while a woman and two children were taken to hospital where they died shortly afterwards.
Formal identification has now taken place and the children have been named as 12-year-old Hammad Umerji, Yusuf Umerji, who is 10, and 5-year-old Khadija Umerji.
Their mother has been identified as 40-year-old Anisha Umerji.
An investigation was launched to establish the cause of the fire and officers have now confirmed there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.
