A student has pleaded guilty to dangerous driving and driving without a licence or insurance.
The 22-year-old student crashed into traffic lights during a police chase.
The incident took place in December last year, where police spotted Kamran Khan speeding on Hollingwood Lane, Bradford at about 2:40am.
Bradford Crown Court heard how Khan lost control and hit a traffic light post, on the junction of Thornton Road.
He told police officers: “I just panicked, I’m sorry, I don’t have a licence.”
Khan, of Washington Street, Girlington, Bradford, has been ordered to perform 100 hours of unpaid work and imposed a 12-month driving ban.
