A man has been charged after a police officer was left with a two-inch head wound while attempting to make an arrest in Moston.
Anthony Robertson, 38, of Bury New Road, Salford has been charged with assault and a public order offence.
On Tuesday 15 May, Greater Manchester Police were called to a report of indecent exposure on Dean Brook Close.
The officer attended and attempted to arrest a man but was hit over the head with a glass bottle three times.
