A man had been hospitalised after a violent robbery in Paisley, Greater Glasgow.
At 1.45am yesterday morning (02.04.17), the 47-year-old victim was reportedly assaulted by three men and a woman on Old Road, who proceeded to rob the victim before running off in the direction of Elderslie Cemetery.
The victim was admitted to the Royal Alexandra Hospital and has since been released.
The police are now appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward. The suspects are all described as being between 20 to 25 years-of-age. The three men were all wearing dark clothing and the woman had light brown hair and was wearing a black parka-style jacket. They all spoke with a local accent.
Detective Constable Laura Durnie, from Paisley CID, said: “This was a terrifying ordeal for the victim who required hospital treatment for his injuries. I would appeal to anyone who was in the surrounding area in the early hours of this morning and witnessed the incident, or saw a group of three men and a woman, to get in touch.”
