A man has been found guilty of robbing a McDonald’s, KFC and Wilko across Greater Manchester in just four days.
Ali Ashraf, 37, was convicted of three counts of robbery at Manchester Crown Court but was not present in the dock after refusing to attend the trial.
The court heard how Ashraf used scissors to intimidate workers and even threatened to murder one woman during his spree.
In each incident he targeted female members of staff, waiting for the till to be opened and then threatening to stab them unless they handed over cash.
He is due to be sentenced next month.
