A concert hall in Manchester was evacuated following reports of a fire.
Three fire crews attended Bridgewater Hall in the city centre on Sunday (28 October) night to tackle a litter fire.
Concert-goes, who were at the venue to see band Alt J, were evacuated – with some witnesses describing a “heavy smell of smoke”.
No one was injured, and everyone was eventually allowed back into the hall. The cause of the fire remains unknown.
