Concerns over noise have been raised in connection with the relocation of a mosque in Bradford.
Submitted plans propose to turn nine self-contained apartments on Parkfield Road in Manningham into a place of worship.
However, Bradford Council’s Environmental Health department says it must be demonstrated that proposed activities will not "cause a nuisance to the occupier of the nearest dwelling".
The department recommended doors and windows should be kept shut during prayer time and that the call to prayer should not be amplified.
