At around 1am on Monday 15 August two 15-year-old girls were sat on a bench at the junction of Back Moor and Mottram Moor when they were approached by a silver Vauxhall Astra.
There were three men in the car and one of them briefly spoke with the girls before they became scared and ran off, hiding in a nearby ginnel.
The men then began looking for the girls, with one of them stood at the bottom of the ginnel. The girls ran past this man when he tried to grab one of them.
Luckily he was unsuccessful and they managed to escape before the men drove off in the direction of Glossop.

The second man is described as an Asian man in his early 20’s, approximately 5ft 11in tall and wearing a grey/white tracksuit.
The third man is described as an Asian man in his early 20’s with black hair.
