Police in Huddersfield are appealing for witnesses following an attempted robbery in the Fartown area on Monday afternoon, 24 April.
The incident occurred around 4.35pm when two males entered the Iphones store on Bradford Road. They threatened staff and demanded stock items including mobile phones.
However, the suspects made off empty handed.
The first suspect is described as a black male, 5ft 7in tall and in his late-twenties. He was wearing a black sports sweater, black cap and black tracksuit bottoms.
The second suspect is described as a black male also in his early twenties, and 5ft 5in tall. He had his face covered.
Detective Constable Simon Thomas of Kirklees CID said: “The incident took place on a busy road at a peak time, when there will have been a number of people in the area and I am certain that someone will have seen the suspects either entering or leaving the premises. I would appeal to anyone who was in the area around the time of the incident and saw anything suspicious or who has any information to come forward.”
