A police officer was injured after being dragged down the street whilst through the window of a car.
The sergeant, from a west Leeds patrol team, was attempting to talk to the driver of the vehicle when the man drove away.
West Yorkshire Police confirmed the officer received minor injuries.
The vehicle was pursued and the suspect apprehended.
