Police in Bradford are urging people to act responsibly on the last Friday before Christmas.
The day, that has come to be known as ‘Mad Friday’, involves many businesses shutting down for the festive period and sees revellers pack out pubs to celebrate.
Last year there were outbreaks of violence in Bradford leading to several police officers being injured.
PCSO James Clarke, part of the police team covering Bradford city centre, said last night: “So tomorrow is known as mad Friday!
“Please try and remember it’s no different to any other Friday, there’s no need to go extra silly.”
