A rival bicycle hire firm has announced its interesting in taking over from Mobike in Manchester.
Chinese company Mobike is to leave the city, citing vandalism as a primary reason. Manchester is the first city amongst 200 worldwide where the firm has decided to pull out.
Germany-based Nextbike has registered interest in operating in the city and is looking for a sponsor.
Nextbike has operated in the UK for four years and rents bikes in Glasgow, Cardiff, Milton Keynes and Exeter
