Smokers across the Bradford district are being urged to give up smoking during Ramadan.
Taxi and private hire drivers in Bradford have been supporting the district’s Stop Smoking service by encouraging people to stay smoke free during the holy month.
The service has made drivers aware of the support available in the district so that they can pass on the information or offer support to colleagues looking to quit.
It is part of a wider campaign to encourage people across Bradford to become smoke free and inspire a generation of non-smokers.
The project also aims to educate communities about the effects second-hand smoke has on the whole family.
It is the 16th year Bradford’s Stop Smoking team has run a smoking cessation campaign during Ramadan.
