Two men were arrested during a raid by armed police in Stalybridge.
Greater Manchester Police were called to an address on Mottram Road on Sunday (10 June) evening following reports of a firearms incident.
Officers confirmed no shots were fired and there were no injuries.
A firearm was not retrieved from the property, though two men were arrested on suspicion of firearms offences.
