A woman was killed following a fatal road traffic collision in Ossett.
Officers were called at around 9.50pm to Healey Road on Friday night, 14 July, to a collision involving a pedestrian and a car.
The car, a grey Audi A5, had been driving in the direction of Ossett.
The pedestrian, a woman in her 30s, was taken to hospital where she was pronounced dead a short time later.
The 45-year-old male driver of the Audi was arrested on suspicion of driving while over the prescribed limit and causing death by dangerous driving.
