Actor and singer Ali Zafar, who has been accused of sexual harassment by Pakistani singer Meesha Shafi, took to Twitter to deny all the allegations made against him
The singer broke his silence over the claims made against him and said he will be taking the legal route.
"I intend to take this through the courts of law and to address this professionally and seriously rather than to lodge any allegations here," Ali said in a tweet.
Early in the day, Shafi took to social media to open up about being sexually harassed by Zafar on multiple occasions and that her “conscience does not allow me to be silent anymore."
Talking to Twitter she said "Sharing this because I believe that by speaking out about my own experience of sexual harassment, I will break the culture of silence that permeates through our society. It is not easy to speak out... but it is harder to stay silent. My conscience will not allow it anymore #MeToo."
