    Deepika Padukone: The only actress who didn’t need a Salman or Aamir to deliver hits!

    In an industry like Bollywood where a movie with Salman or Aamir is considered a blessing, Deepika has managed all her journey single-handedly and for this she gets a round of applause from us.

    The actress who is one of the most successful actresses in B-town has never had a single movie with either of the stars

    Nine years ago, we had a really tall girl romancing the King of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan in her debut venture. Such a big movie as first attempt obviously grabbed many eyeballs since she was someone who was nowhere related to the industry and was definitely not a star child. Many insiders felt that she won’t survive this cruel industry because of her sweet looks but they were severely mistaken. Her constant efforts and unlimited hard work got her a place in the Forbes list of top-paid actresses around the world. Yes, we are talking about Deepika Padukone. No points for guessing that right!

     

    Deepika was a director’s delight ever since the time she played ‘Shanti’ on screen. Her next movie was Bachna Ae Haseeno with her then beau Ranbir Kapoor and once again this hottie was praised to the skies. After that, there was no looking back for this actress. She successfully appeared in hit movies like Love Aaj Kal, Housefull, Cocktail and the recent one being Padmavati which hasn’t released yet but the actress has bagged the role and we are sure it will have a huge impact on her career. Her career graph has just been steep but in an upward direction. There was never a slight drop nor was her career on the wrong track. It seems that the actress has always made right choices by signing correct movies at correct times. However, Deepika who has appeared in more than 25 films till date has not signed a single movie with Aamir Khan or Salman Khan.
