Farhan Saeed collaborates with Richie Rish and Mohit Suri.

“These days dramas also have songs so it’s a great time for musicians as it creates more opportunities.”

This year has been pretty good to singer and actor Farhan Saeed. From four music video releases to a singing-acting role in Udaari and occasional Bollywood projects, Farhan Saeed is on a roll and definitely moving forward! Pakistani musicians and actors have been collaborating with individuals from across the border and seems like Farhan Saeed is doing just that.

The singer recently collaborated with the England-based producer Richie Rich and Mumbai-based filmmaker Mohit Suri to develop his own album.

“The idea is to work on my singles and the reason why I am collaborating with Richie Rich and Mohit Suri is because they want a break from Bollywood music. They feel there are too many item numbers in Bollywood with no soul,” he told.

“Normally, they ask for your compositions and songs but now I’m doing it differently, being here and working with producers in India.” The songs are not for any Bollywood movie but Saeed wouldn't mind lending them to the established film industry as he recently re-worked his song, Tu Thori Dair, for an upcoming film called Half Girlfriend.
