Has Shah Rukh Khan signed Dhoom 4? The actor answers!

If there is one film franchise in India that comes anywhere close to continuity, it is YRF’s Dhoom series.

The three films in the series have been blockbuster hits. Speculations around the fourth entry in the franchise have already begun. Rumour has it that Shah Rukh Khan has been approached to play the villain in the next installment.

Well, the actor denies it. The actor was celebrating his 52nd birthday with the media at Taj Land’s End. At one point he was asked about his involvement with Dhoom 4, to which he said, “The film has not been offered yet, as I myself have told Adi (Aditya Chopra) that I am not free currently.” He also added that he has not signed anything and is only occupied with the Aanand L Rai directed film.

The franchise has always had the best men in Bollywood play the villain. Dhoom had the sexy John Abraham, Dhoom 2 has Hrithik Roshan up the hotness quotient, and Dhoom 3 had Aamir Khan being the perfect villain. Of course to up the ante, there could be no one better than Shah Rukh Khan. Fans of the Dhoom series and SRK can only hope that we see the actor in the next film. Certainly, talks about it must be happening, as there is no smoke without fire.

Shah Rukh Khan had a lavish birthday bash in Alibaug which was attended by a host of Bollywood celebs, everyone close to the actor, including Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra, Karan Johar, et al.

Shah Rukh is currently working on an untitled film with Aanand L Rai in which he will play a dwarf. Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif are playing the female leads in the movie.
