Mahira Khan slams rumors of refusing Pakistani movie "Maula Jatt 2"

Recently rumors of Mahira Khan leaving Pakistani movie Maula Jatt 2 have been making rounds. However, the latest news on this topic is that Mahira is still in the project!

She was chosen by “Bilal Lashari” for the role of “Mukkho Jatt”. It seems that Mahira has had a very busy schedule for her other two movies that are Shoaib Mansoor’s ‘Verna’ and Farjad Nabi’s ‘Saat Din Muhabbat In’, but the actress is very much on board for Maula Jatt 2.

“I am doing Maula Jutt,” Mahira said to a local magazine. “I am totally onboard. It’s also totally out of my comfort zone so it’s a good challenge.” The actress is even taking Punjabi language classes to get her act right. “I am taking Punjabi classes and hope I don’t sound like a little burger bacha in the film.”

Claiming that she gets various offers from filmmakers after working with Shahrukh Khan in Raees, but she is unable to work with them because of her extremely exhausting schedules. However, she plans on pursuing her career in Pakistan by working in as many films and dramas as she can. The shooting of the movie is under process in Lahore featuring Fawad Khan, Hamza Ali Abbasi, Humaima Malik and of course, Mahira Khan.
