No more Pakistani melodies for Bollywood, Artists we love will no longer be in Bollywood!

So it's final! Pakistani artists are not coming back to work in India or Bollywood ever.

A closed door meeting between Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, the Film and Television Producers Guild of India Ltd President Mukesh Bhatt, producer and director of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil Karan Johar and Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray concluded with a lifetime ban on Pakistani artists and that they shall not be employed by Indian producers henceforth.

On a relieving note, MNS has promised to 'allow' Ae Dil Hai Mushkil starring Fawad Khan to release without any violence or portest from their end. However, Raj Thackeray has asked Bollywood producers to give a written statement that they would not hire any Pakistani artists.

The imposed ban also means that half of the hit songs we heard and loved over the years, well, shall be it. They would be the last of the Pakistani voices you shall hear in the country. Atif Aslam's Aadat Si Hai Mujhko to Rahat Fateh Ali Khan's Jiya Dhadak Dhadak jaye...those memorable, soul stirring tunes and the voices behind them will not be heard in Bollywood films again.

Here are the best Bollywood songs from Pakistani singers who had won our hearts for over two-and-a-half decades...
