Sanjay Dutt's biopic starring Ranbir Kapoor won't feature the 'Khalnayak' song!

Ever since it was announced that Ranbir Kapoor will be starring in Sanjay Dutt's biopic helmed by Rajkumar Hirani, all eyes have been glued on to the project. The audience is eagerly looking forward to the film. Even though the film is yet to be titled, Ranbir's look from the film was out and it garnered a lot of positive response.

In a recent interview with PTI, Ranbir spilled a lot of beans about the project and gave insights. Talking about Sanjay Dutt's contribution to the film he said, "He hasn't been a hypocrite about it. So it's not a propaganda film trying to portray him as God or something. We are trying to show a very human side of Sanjay Dutt, his perils, his downfall, his will to fight, his time in jail, terrorism charges, his drug phase, how he handled his mother's death two days before the release of his debut film, his relationship with his father. These were human conflicts in his life."

He further added, "Getting the look right is very superficial, it is easy as you have help from makeup and computer graphics. To show Sanjay Dutt as a human being, as a biopic only works when you show the human side of a person, and not the glories but the downfall as well. I don't know if I have nailed it or not. I was very inspired. We have a few days left now for the film. It's very new me, so I am excited to see how the audience reacts. It should be out on March 30 next year."

When questioned about the famous Khalnayak song being a part of the film, rubbishing the rumours, Ranbir said, "We have not touched upon the 'Khalnayak' phase. This film doesn't talk about Sanjay Dutt the hero, but Sanjay Dutt's life. We have touched upon his few films like the first 'Rocky' and 'Munnabhai MBBS'."

We are super excited for the film.
