Vicky Kaushal reveals the exact moment when he was roped in for 'Raazi'

    Meghna Gulzar’s ‘Raazi’ released last week and ever since then, the movie has seen an immense growth at the box office.

    Starring Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal in titular roles, the movie is about an Indian spy called Sehmat who is married to a Pakistani Army officer Iqbal.

    While speaking to a media portal, Vicky got candid about the exact moment when he was chosen to play the part in ‘Raazi’. He revealed that he got a call from Karan Johar saying that he’s making a film which will be directed by Meghna Gulzar. He professed how KJo thought of him perfect to play Iqbal’s character in the movie.

    The report further cited that Vicky then met Meghna and gave a screen test along with Alia Bhatt. He got the part in ‘Raazi’. The ‘Masaan’ actor professed how happy he was to get a call from Karan at this point in his career. He also said that he felt extremely honoured to collaborate with the very talented Meghna Gulzar.

    Vicky Kaushal will be next seen in ‘Manmarziyaan’ and ‘Uri’. As per latest reports, he will be playing the role of an Army officer once again in ‘Uri’.
