At least 12 people have been killed in landslides in Bangladesh.
The separate incidents took place across the Rangamati and Cox’s Bazar areas, triggered by heavy rainfall since Sunday 10 June.
Authorities said rescue operations are still underway.
Monsoon season last year saw Bangladesh’s most devastating series of landslides in a decade. 170 people died, 120 alone in Rangamati.
Errant hill-cutting was blamed as the main cause of the landslides at the time.
