12-year-old boy found dead after attempting to imitate hanging of Bhagat Sigh

    A 12-year-old boy has been found dead in the Northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh after attempting to imitate a scene of Bhagat Singh's hanging.

    Police reported the incident occurred on Thursday evening when the boy died due to accidental hanging at his home in Bholia village.

    At the time of the incident, the child was watching a video of a play revolving around the life of Bhagat Singh on a mobile phone, when he tried to imitate the hanging scene.

    Speaking on the incident, a police spokesperson said: "The 12-year-old child was watching a video clip of the play on Bhagat Singh in school.

    “During this time, he tried to imitate the scene of Bhagat Singh being hanged but couldn't maintain his balance and died due to hanging."
