14 people were offloaded off a bus and shot dead by a group of unidentified gunmen in Pakistan.
Dawn News reports that the attack occurred in the Ormara area of Balochistan. The gunmen stopped a bus travelling between Karachi and Gawadar, checked the identity cards of the passengers and offloaded 16 of them, killing 14.
According to a local official, more than 30 people in total had been travelling on the bus.
The home secretary confirmed one navy and one coast guard personnel were among those killed.
The motive behind the killings and the identity of the victims are yet to be disclosed. No one has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
