At least 16 people have been killed and 27 injured in storms in the north Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.
Cattle has also been lost and seven houses damaged in the high-speed winds and lightning strikes.
The India Meteorological Department has predicted similar weather to hit the region again on Saturday 12 May.
