Two men were found dead in a hotel room in Karachi.
Police have identified the deceased as two friends - Faizan, 22, and Shahnawaz, 29 - who had not left the room since Wednesday 24 January.
Staff at the hotel, which is near to Karachi's Cantonment Railway Station, alerted police after they smelled a stench from outside the room.
An official expressed suspicion that the two had died after eating something poisonous. He said that food found in the room would be sent to a laboratory for testing.
