A curfew has been put in place following clashes between government forces and militants in Indian-administered Kashmir.
At least 20 people were killed in the violence, which erupted on Sunday 1 April. Around 200 people are also believed to have been injured.
Four civilians were reportedly killed when police opened fire on protesters. Three Indian soldiers and 13 suspected militants are said to also be amongst those killed.
Schools, colleges and businesses have been shut in the Kashmir valley, following a strike called by separatists in protest at the killings.
