At least 23 people, including seven children, have been killed by monsoon rains in Karachi.
Around 130mm of rain fell on the city on Thursday, 31 August, with more rain forecast to arrive.
Many roads were made impassable and flights were heavily disrupted as the water levels came to knee-height.
Many power outages have also been reported, despite the early weather warnings.
Local sources claim most of the victims died by electrocution.
It is believed the death toll may rise as the water recedes.
