At least five people were killed when a mine collapsed in Pakistan.
Local reports say a gas explosion in a mine in Azad Jammu and Kashmir caused the mine to cave-in whilst around seven people were working underground in Seri Darra village, towards the east of Muzaffarabad.
Two of the workers were near to the entrance of the mine and managed to escape only with minor injuries.
Sources say two of the deceased are brothers.
Six people have been arrested as the local authorities have registered a criminal case against the leaseholder and contractor of the miners for not following safety standards.
