The Lahore High Court has put in place a temporary ban on the broadcast of “anti-judiciary” speeches made by former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
The order has also seen the 15-day suspension barring speeches from his daughter, Maryam Sharif, being aired.
Following the Panama Papers verdict which led to Sharif's disqualification as premier, Sharif and other PML-N party leaders have drawn ire for their criticism of the judiciary.
Local reports say multiple petitions have been filed in different courts against them over alleged contempt of court.
