Police in India have arrested a man in connection with a “wedding bomb” that killed a man and injured his wife.
Punjilal Meher, a teacher who worked with the victim’s mother at a college in Orissa state, is accused of plotting a revenge killing.
Reports say the mother was promoted over the suspect, which police believe provided the motive for him to send a parcel bomb to the couple five days after their wedding.
Over 100 people have been questioned in the police investigation so far.
