A paralysed man was burnt to death after his house caught on fire.
The incident took place on Friday, in central Delhi's Chandni Mahal. 46-year-old Iqbal was alone in his house when it caught on fire because of a short-circuit.
Fire officials have said: “Four fire tenders were rushed to the spot. It took us over half an hour to douse the flames. By the time the situation could be controlled, Iqbal had already died.”
Iqbal was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
