A teenage boy was killed and 112 people arrested in religious clashes in India.
Violence erupted between two religious groups during a motorcycle rally on Republic Day in the Kasganj district of Uttar Pradesh state.
The unrest escalated over the weekend with shops and vehicles set on fire. Hindu and Muslim groups have blamed each other for the disorder.
It is believed the boy died due to stone pelting between the two groups.
An officer said the situation is now under control though there is still a heavy police presence in the area.
