British national accused of sexual abuse in India blind school

A British national has been accused of sexually abusing visually-impaired children at a blind school in India.

Murray Denis Ward has been arrested for allegedly molesting three pupils at the National Institute for the Blind in South Delhi.

Reports say the 54-year-old is a frequent visitor to the institution and that he has been a regular donor for nine years.

It is believed Ward is originally from Gloucestershire and has been working in India for a technology company.

Local sources claim the police found a couple of "objectionable" video clips from the suspect's confiscated mobile phone and laptop.
