Case opened against motorcyclist injured by crash with US diplomat in Pakistan

    Police have opened a case against a motorcyclist in Pakistan who was injured when he crashed into a US diplomat’s car.

    The collision took place in Islamabad on Sunday 29 April. According to a police report the incident was caused by the “negligence and recklessness” of Nazakat Islam, who was riding the motorcycle.

    Another case was lodged in the same police station against the chief security officer of the US embassy in Islamabad, Taimoor Pirzada. He allegedly “misbehaved” with police following the crash.
