An Anti-Terrorism Court in Pakistan has ordered the arrests of politico-religious leaders over protests in Faizabad.
The sit-in at Faizabad Interchange took place in November 2017, over alleged changes to an oath which the government claims was due to a “clerical error”.
Arrests have been ordered for a number of suspects including the leader of Tehreek-i-Labbaik Pakistan, Khadim Hussain Rizvi.
Reports say the arrests were issued after multiple court summons were ignored.
